Recent Advances in Applied Signals, Systems and Image Processing focuses on adaptive filtering, while with respect to Imaging Systems the emphasis is put on both, low level image formation techniques and high level machine vision / multimedia content processing methodologies and systems. Finally, special care is given to analyze multimedia coding and several technologies related to multimedia content and communications.
