All papers were peer-reviewed. This fifth edition of the Workshop on Information Optics was mainly focused on the latest advances in optics and information theory and applications. WIO aims to provide a forum for scientific interaction where researchers can present and discuss the latest advances as well as outstanding scientific problems in this field. Educational outreach to students is also emphasized. Topics include: 3D imaging, image processing, signal processing, time-frequency representations, superresolution, optical sensors, and wireless sensors.
