"There is a growing movement in the United States toward developing a range of mental health programs for youth in schools. This movement is fueled by the recognition of the gap between the needs of children and adolescents and access to effective programs for this population. This volume focuses on issues being confronted by school-based mental health programs, or those that are actually working within schools. These programs provide assessment, intervention, consultation, and/or prevention services directly in the school.
