State-of-the-Art photography, analysis by Europe's leading architecture critics in English and German, as well as plans and technical data document the most significant new buildings in Austria and the rest of Europe. Essays on current theoretical and historical issues by prominent authors add depth to the thematic focuses, which treat architecture as cultural production. In addition, architektur.aktuell provides coverage of new products and reviews of books and exhibitions (in German) in its 'journal' section, with a calendar of events lending a further accent to the orientation.
